We have listed the five cheapest electric cars currently on sale in India

Today it is June 4, 2021 and we are on the eve of World Environment Day. With climate change emerging as a real threat, it is imperative to protect and preserve the environment from vehicular pollution as well. The fossil fuels such as petrol and diesel cause heavy damage to the environment as vehicles powered by these fuels release heavy smoke in the air which pollutes the atmosphere upto a huge extent. Hence, in order to get rid of this, several automakers have come up with all-electric cars for the buyers which release zero smoke from the exhaust pipe and therefore eliminate all the chances of vehicular pollution. The Union government as well as various state government have also rolled out various lucrative subsidies for buyers so that they can switch to electric vehicles from petrol and diesel powered cars. Though, they are not as affordable as the other conventional fuel cars but still the prices have gone down remarkably in the past couple of years.
