The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV launched today in India, with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), has been formally introduced by Citroen India. It's the automaker's attempt in the highly beneficial compact SUV market, and its optional three-row arrangement adds a splash of individuality. Only the turbo-petrol engine is available for the C3 Aircross, which is available in three different trim levels.
Variant Price (ex-showroom)
5-seater(You) INR 9.99 Lakh
5-seater(Plus) INR 11.34 Lakh
7-seater(Plus) INR 11.69 Lakh
5-seater(Max) INR 11.99 Lakh
7-seater(Max) INR 12.34 Lakh
The most cheap monocoque three-row SUV on the market right now is the Citroen C3 Aircross. For an additional INR 20,000, you may choose the dual-tone hue in the Max and Plus trim to dress it up. Additionally, for the Max and Plus models, the Vibe Pack costs Rs 25,000 and Rs 22,000, respectively.
The inclusion of an additional third row of seats is the C3 Aircross' principal distinctive feature. With this in place, the boot's 44 liters of capacity are essentially nonexistent. The ingenious part, though, is that they can be taken apart to reveal a huge 511-liter trunk. So you may decide whether you want to prioritize carrying passengers, luggage, or a combination of both in your SUV.
The C3 Aircross has only the essential equipment, including a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital driver's display, a remote locking, manual air conditioning, a blower for passengers in the second row, and electronically adjustable ORVMs.
It has electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with cameras, and dual airbags for safety.
Only one 110PS 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission is available for the C3 Aircross. In the future, this SUV will likely come with an automatic transmission and an all-electric model.
The new Citroen C3 Aircross competes against vehicles like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, as well as MPVs like the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Carens. Citroen's "Buy Now, Pay In 2024" program allows customers who want to receive their vehicles by October 31 to pick them up now and begin making EMI payments in 2024.
