Cyclone Tauktae: Hyundai India Forms ‘Relief Task Force’

The ‘Relief Task Force’ will support the Hyundai customers in Gujarat, Goa, parts of Maharashtra & Rajasthan

Hyundai India has constituted a special ‘Relief Task Force’ to support the Cyclone Tauktae affected Hyundai customers in Gujarat, Goa, parts of Maharashtra & Rajasthan. The South-Korean brand is also extending Emergency Roadside Assistance Service to support the customers in case of Cyclone affected Hyundai vehicles. In addition, the company is also offering a 50 percent discount on the depreciation amount of insurance claims for flood affected vehicles. Cyclone Tauktae led to incessant rainfall which caused heavy damages to cars and SUVs.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service) said, “Taking inspiration from our global vision – ‘Progress for Humanity’, we are committed towards the betterment of societies and communities. As a responsible and caring brand, Hyundai aims to provide the best of service assistance to customers even during strenuous times. Cyclone Tauktae has once again tested the resiliency of Indian people. Our relief teams will make efforts to ensure uninterrupted mobility for customers affected by the cyclone in Gujarat, Goa, parts of Maharashtra and Rajasthan thereby offering them ‘Peace of Mind’ in these challenging times.” Hyundai currently has a network of over 1300 service centres across the country.




Recently, the South-Korean automaker had announced the extension of warranty, extended warranty and free service by 2 months for customers who are currently unable to avail services due to lockdown conditions in their respective states or cities. Furthermore, Hyundai  Relief service facilities can also be experienced via 360 Degree Digital & Contact-less Service. From online service booking, vehicle status update, Pick & Drop from home/office to online payment facility, a touch free service experience is offered to the customers. Meanwhile, in other news, Hyundai is gearing up for the launch of Alcazar 7-seater SUV which made its world premiere last month. It is expected to go on sale from next month in India.
