A new automatic variant will join the Redigo line up by end-January 2018. The Redigo automatic will be fitted with a five-speed AMT gearbox on the 1.0-litre engine version.
The AMT car will feature a conventional gear lever or a rotary controller for the gearbox like the Kwid AMT. The Kwid AMT doesn’t give you the option of a manual mode for gearshifts, however.
The AMT version could cost around ₹30,000 over the price of the equivalent manual model variant. Prices for the Redigo AMT should start at ₹3.9 lakh (estimated, ex-showroom, Delhi).
