Pictures show that it will be a single-seat, track-friendly car.

Infiniti has part-revealed its upcoming single-seat, electric performance concept with pictures that show us a few details of what the cabin might look like. The carmaker will show its future of electrified performance at Pebble Beach in California this year.

Design boss Alfonso Albaisa said the concept will “bridge the divide between new and old”, so you can expect another retro-inspired car like the Prototype 9 shown last year. No other details have been revealed about the car, but the design was overseen by executive design director Karim Habib, who moved to Infiniti last year after a six-year tenure at BMW.

There’s no word on whether the car will make production or not, but Infiniti’s description of the car states that it is a "physical representation of Infiniti’s electrified performance future."
