The company will only produce 666 units of the limited-edition bike.

In a collaboration with the apparel brand Diesel, Ducati has launched a limited-edition bike called the Diavel Diesel in India. The two-wheeler was launched at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week 2017, and is priced at ₹19.92 lakh. This is not the first time the two brands have come together to create a bike, as they previously worked on making the Ducati Monster Diesel back in 2012. Diesel will also be launching a limited-edition collection of Ducati Diesel merchandise across the globe soon.

The bike has been jointly conceived by the Ducati Design Center and Andrea Rosso, Diesel’s licensing creative director. The design for the bike has been inspired by the idea of a post-apocalyptic future leading to a raw and blunt look. “A perfect amalgamation of Ducati’s signature design, safety and performance and Diesel’s craftsmanship and style, the Diavel Diesel is unique in every sense,” said Ducati India MD Ravi Avalur. “With our collaboration with Diesel, we’ve widened the potential interest in this limited-edition motorcycle beyond the world of motorcycle connoisseurs to fashion and design aesthetics.”

The design is characterised by a hand-brushed stainless steel superstructure with visible welding and rivets. The detailing on the front cowl, fuel tank and leather seat is remarkable and speaks volumes about the dedication of both the brands to make this model unique. It comes fitted with a 162hp Testastretta 11deg engine combined with the Ducati Safety Pack (ABS and Traction Control) and Riding Modes.
