The upcoming Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift will get a new black colour option

Toyota has given a mid-life refresh to its premium MPV, Innova Crysta after 4 years of its launch. The Japanese automaker unveiled the facelifted version of the vehicle in the Indonesian market last month. We have some exclusive information regarding the upcoming Innova Crysta Facelift here for you ahead of the official launch. According to a dealer source, the premium MPV is scheduled to be launched on the 25th of November 2020. 



Further, the Innova Crysta Facelift will get a new black colour paint option. As for the price, we can expect the facelifted version to cost Rs 60,000 more than its predecessor. The Innova Crysta currently on sale is priced in the range of Rs 15.66 lakh - Rs 23.63 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Cosmetically, the four-wheeler will get a sharp front look in comparison to the outgoing model. The MPV will feature a large grille with five horizontal slats upfront. Toyota will further equip the VX variant and other higher trims with front sensors. The Toyota badge will be mounted in an upright manner. Its halogen fog lamps will be redesigned. The rear end will also receive minor changes in the form of a thick black center section and tail lamp surrounds.



In terms of interior features, the upcoming MPV will be more technologically advanced in comparison to its predecessor. It will come equipped with a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit integrated with Apple Car Play and Android Auto instead of a 7-inch unit offered in the current model. Furthermore, the Innova Crysta Facelifted version will get an all-black interior and an improved version of seats and upholstery. Other feature highlights will include electrically adjustable front seats, wireless charging, and a 360-degree view camera. 

Performance-wise, the India-spec Crysta Facelift will get two engine options. A 2.4-litre diesel engine that will generate a maximum power of 148 bhp @ 3400 rpm. While the 2.7-litre petrol unit will churn out a maximum power of 164 bhp @ 5200 rpm. Both these engines will be offered with a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission options.
