FADA 11th Edition Auto Summit 2020 concluded in New Delhi

Federation of Automobile Dealers and Association(FADA) successfully concluded its 11th edition of Auto Summit 2020 yesterday in New Delhi. The theme of this edition revolved around “Thriving Amidst Disruption”. 


The annual convention was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways & Shipping, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. Other high officials present at the convention were Ashish Harshraj Kale, President, FADA, Mr. Vinkesh Gulati, Vice President, FADA, Manish Raj Singhania, Secretary, FADA, Nikunj Sanghi, Past President, FADA,  C S Vigneshwar, Treasurer, FADA along with distinguished luminaries, senior officials from the OEMs, senior government dignitaries from different ministries, industry think tanks and over 700 dealer members of FADA.

We as an association are thankful to the entire automotive fraternity for congregating under one roof and making this convention successful.” He further added that we are grateful to Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’bleUnion Minister, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways & Shipping, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India for gracing us with his presence today and his unflinching support for the industry, which will help us thrive amidst disruption.” as commented by, Mr. Ashish Harshraj Kale, President, FADA.


The auto summit comprised of different sessions with more than 50 speakers deliberating on various aspects. These included sessions on Electric Mobility, CMVR & Vahan 4.0, Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, and Two-Wheelers focused on Future and Challenges of Dealerships and BS-6. 


A special session was held on the “The seven habits of highly effective people” followed by a short motivational session by Sadhu Gyanvatsal das Ji. There were other high officials who addressed the convention with some interesting topics. These included a commercial vehicle panel discussion about the BS-6. 


 Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group was felicitated during the event with an award for an exemplary contribution to the Indian Automobile Industry along with Nikunj Sanghi, for his contribution to the Automobile dealer fraternity for many years. The convention concluded with an interactive session by former Indian Cricket Captain, Kapil Dev.
