In major news, Ferrari F8 Tributo has been launched in India at Rs 4.02 Crores (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The newly launched F8 Tributo will replace the 488 GTB in the Italian automaker's line-up. It is going to be powered by the most powerful V8 engine in the company's history. Ferrari unveiled the F8 Tributo supercar at the 2019 Geneva motor show and now it has finally made its way to the Indian market. The supercar many believe is going to the last non-hybrid V8 supercar to be produced. Ferrari F8 Tributo holds the tag of the fastest mid-engined series-production supercar from the Italian luxury carmaker.

If we talk about the design, the F8 Tributo is quite similar to the outgoing 488 GTB. It comes with new, sharper, revamped rear headlights, twin rear light cluster and S-duct intake at the rear. The engine cover comes with louvres for extracting hot air from the engine compartment without impacting the spoiler’s efficiency. Ferrari enthusiasts will find that the twin rear-light clusters are inspired by the famous 1975 308 GTB - the first eight-cylinder Berlinetta while the louvres are inspired by the iconic Ferrari F40. The F8 Tributo sportscar cabin comes with a driver-centric dashboard. It is 30 kgs lighter with additions of new components like a Lexan visor, new bumpers and a carbon fibre rear spoiler.  The front passenger gets entertainment option in the form of a new 7.0-inch touchscreen display while there is a driver-centric dashboard too. The supercar also comes with the sporty flat-bottom steering wheel, behind which are the paddle shifters.

The Ferrari F8 Tributo is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The engine will belt out 710 bhp of maximum power and 770Nm of peak torque. The powerful engine will be paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The supercar is expected to clock a maximum top speed of 340 kmph. The Ferrari F8 Tributo can go from 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and 0-200 kmph in 7.8 seconds. The supercar will come with the standard Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer (FDE+).
