The all-new Kia Sportage has been digitally unveiled ahead of its world premiere. The fifth-gen SUV has been designed by Kia's global design network in Korea, Germany, the US, and China. It is based on the brand's 'Opposites United' design philosophy which comprises of five pillars namely Joy for Reason, Power to Progress, Technology for Life, Tension for Serenity and Bold for Nature. The 2021 Kia Sportage also gets a X-Line trim which comes with visual enhancements over the standard variants both at the outside and inside the cabin.




The front fascia of the fifth-generation Kia Sportage flaunts black grille graphic which is flanked by Kia’s modern signature Tiger Nose grille. Furthermore, it gets boomerang-shaped DRLs and a pronounced bumper upfront. The side profile comes with taut lines, black roof and chrome beltline which flows into the D-pillar of the SUV. The rear end boasts of a spoiler, slim horizontal tail lamp cluster and a large lower graphic bumper casing. The cabin features a slim crush touchscreen pad with an advanced integrated controller. The company has equipped the SUV with an ergonomic center console which is finished in a high-end gloss while it comes with storage, operating system configuration, cupholders and soft-touch switches.




The rear of the driver and front passenger seats get integrated hanger-type designs within the slim headrests, allowing clothing and handbags to be easily and conveniently hooked into. Speaking of the 2021 Kia Sportage X-Line, it carries a unique bumper, side sill and curved roof rack to distinguish itself from the regular variants of the SUV. Inside the cabin, the customers can choose between a signature sage green or black seating, as well as bold quilting and black metal wood. There is no official information on the mechanical aspects of the SUV such as engine, transmission and drivetrain. The South-Korean brand has stated that it will be made available in due course of time.
