Kawasaki has unveiled the 2024 Yamaha Ninja ZX-10R on the global market. Kawasaki is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the motorcycle. The 40th anniversary brings back nostalgic feelings from the 1990s. The Ninja ZX-10R 40th Anniversary Edition comes in three colors: Pearl Crystal White, Blue, and Lime Green. The Ninja brand debuted in 1984, and the colors available in the new Ninja ZX-10R celebrate four decades of Kawasaki sport bike series.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R is the most popular model in the Ninja Sport bike series. The Ninja ZX-7R was produced by the Japanese manufacturer from 1989 until 2003, and it was an icon of the WorldSBK Championship. The ZX-7R comes in three colors: White, Blue, and Green. The 2024 Yamaha Ninja ZX-10R is a replica of the ZX-7R, as it retains various aspects of the standard variant.
The 2024 Yamaha Ninja ZX-10R gets a bunch of electronic aids such as launch control, engine brake control, cornering management function, double-channel ABS, cruise control, power modes, etc. The new Ninja ZX-10R has 43 mm USD balance-free forks, and at the rear it has a monoshock.
The braking performance of the motorcycle comes from a double 330 mm front disc and one 220 mm disc at the rear. In retro blue font, the new motorcycle has Kawasaki branding on it, and it gets a 40th-anniversary emblem on the top of its fuel tank. The wheels of the Ninja ZX-10R have a lime green color scheme with a silver-colored swingarm. There are no mechanical changes in the Ninja ZX-10R 40th Anniversary Edition. It is powered by the same 998-cc in-line, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 200.21 bhp and 114.9 Nm of peak torque. The four-cylinder engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a quickshifter.
The Ninja ZX-10R comes with Ninja ZX-7R-themed iconic livery containing its blue, white, and green color finishes. Other Ninja motorcycles will also get the Ninja ZX-7R-themed iconic livery, including the ZX-14R, ZX-6R, and ZX-4RR.
