Ford Aspire facelift spotted ahead of October 4 launch

The facelifted Aspire by Ford is all set to be launched on October 4. The compact sedan gets some cosmetic changes, new features and an all-new petrol engine.

Ford Aspire facelift spied undisguised, which is set to launch on October 4. There are some major cosmetic changes on the front. The front grille is now chrome surrounded, the bumper gets a sporty design, the headlights are smoked and foglamps get a black housing. However, the facelift Aspire misses out on LED DRLs. The rear of the car gets an updated bumper. The side profile remains unchanged but the new Aspire gets 15-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The dashboard on the inside is new, which house the 6.5-inch touchscreen display. The infotainment system is new Sync 3, it is the same infotainment system from the new Freestyle and EcoSport facelift. The new Aspire gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Auto climate control, keyless entry with push-button start/stop and steering mounted controls are the other features provided in the new Aspire. On the safety front, the top of the line Aspire will get 6 airbags and rest other trims will get 2 airbags.

The Ford Aspire will get an all-new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which produces 96 PS of power and 120 Nm of torque. However, the diesel variant of Aspire will retain the same 1.5-litre engine. The price of the facelift will increase slightly.
