Changes will be made to the exterior and interior and the car will feature a new Dragon petrol engine.

Ford is currently working on mid-life facelifts for its Figo range - the Figo Hatch and the Cross have been spotted testing in India and South America already. These spy shots, of the Aspire spotted testing in Turkey, show very little of the car, courtesy the heavy camouflage.

Apart from changes on the outside, the dashboard will be reworked to fit a touchscreen infotainment system. The company will also launch a 1.2-litre Dragon petrol engine in the Figo Aspire sedan, which will replace the existing motor. The engine will first make its debut in the EcoSport and Ford will manufacture them here. This full-aluminium engine is believed to be around 10 percent lighter than the current unit.

The company is also preparing an all-new hatchback and a sedan – codenamed B562 and B563 – that will rival Hyundai’s i20 and Honda’s City.
