The company will also launch a 1.2-litre Dragon petrol engine in the Figo Aspire sedan, which will replace the existing motor. The engine will first make its debut in the EcoSport and Ford will manufacture them here. This full-aluminium engine is believed to be around 10 percent lighter than the current unit.
The company is also preparing an all-new hatchback and a sedan – codenamed B562 and B563 – that will rival Hyundai’s i20 and Honda’s City.
