In the fall-up to the unveiling of the Kia Carnival scheduled on the first day of the 2020 Auto Expo, we've received additional details about the forthcoming MPV-the Carnival will be available in a total of four model models.
Kia's MPV will be sold in various seating configurations as we reported earlier, which should help it meet a range of price points. The nine-seat Carnival will be the entry-level version, the eight-seat model will be the mid-spec variant, while the seven-seat model will have two higher-spec versions-prices for these that surpass the Rs 30 lakh mark.
Only the seven-seater will come with advanced features like the Nappa leather upholstery and the rear-seat entertainment package which includes two 10.1-inch rear passenger displays.
Additionally, the top-spec variant will also be equipped with 18-inch alloys, a dual-pane sunroof, powered tailgate, keyless entry and exit, wireless charging, power-adjustable and ventilated driver's seat, and three-zone climate control. Not to mention an infotainment system with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Kia's in-car connectivity tech.
MPV bookings powered by a 200hp, 2.2-liter diesel engine have started unofficially at select Kia dealers but it seems the Korean brand is positioning the Carnival slightly above Toyota Innova Crysta on all parameters, along with price.
Tamo, the sub-brand of Tata Motors, released its first product at the Geneva motor show; only 250 of these sportscars will be made.
