Harley-Davidson Launches its Street Bob, Fat Bob, Fat Boy, Heritage Classic

Prices start from Rs 11.99-18.99 lakh and the bikes now come fitted with Harley’s Milwaukee-Eight engine.

All four new 2018 Softail models have been launched in India. These new bikes now come fitted with the Milwaukee-Eight engine and prices start from ₹11.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India) for the Street Bob and going all the way up to ₹18.99 lakh for the Heritage Classic. Internationally, there are two versions of the Milwaukee-Eight engines, the 107 and the 114. India will be getting only the 107 for now.

This is Harley’s entry-level Softail in India and is priced at ₹11.99 lakh. The 107 is a 1,745cc V-Twin motor that makes 144Nm. Harley’s Fat Bob is priced at ₹13.99 lakh and, in Harley’s words, is designed for the zombie apocalypse. It’s got a rectangular LED headlamp, chunky tyres and stubby mufflers, and looks absolutely wild overall. The same Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine is tuned to make 145Nm in the Fat Bob. The Fat Boy is one of Harley’s most popular Softail models and is priced at ₹17.49 lakh. Updates to the bike include keyless ignition, a new fuel tank, updated instrumentation and LED headlamps. The bike is also 16kg lighter now.

The Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic is priced at ₹18.99 lakh and is the company’s most expensive Softail in India. It is also one of the highest selling Softails internationally. It’s Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine also makes 144Nm and, the Classic also gets an LED headlight and upgraded suspension. The motorcycle has also lost 17kg and now comes with rigid, lockable and waterproof saddlebags.
