Hero Xtreme 160R '100 Million' Limited Edition Launching Soon

Hero MotoCorp is likely to launch 10 products including variants, refreshes, and upgrades every year

Hero MotoCorp achieved the cumulative production milestone of 100 million units last month. It rolled out its millionth model namely the Xtreme 160R from its manufacturing facility in Haridwar. To celebrate the occasion, the two-wheeler brand unveiled six celebration edition models: Splendor+, Xtreme 160R, Passion Pro, Glamour, Destini 125, and Maestro Edge 110. Furthermore, the company is likely to launch these models this month itself. Besides these, it has also announced that it plans to introduce over 10 products – including variants, refreshes, and upgrades every year. 

 


Talking about the Hero Xtreme 160R 100 Million Limited Edition, it will feature a new red and white dual-tone colour scheme along with blacked-out parts. The front fender, side panels, and fuel tank extensions will be painted in red while half of the rear cowl will have base paint as white along with red graphics and ‘160R’ decals. As for the features, it is likely to retain the existing from the standard model. These features include a fully-digital instrument cluster, full-LED lighting, single-piece seat, smoked taillamp and hazard lights among many others. 

Mechanically, the new Millionth Edition will be powered by the same 163cc single-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power of 15 bhp power at 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 14 Nm at 6500 rpm.  Furthermore, the engine uses the company's xSens technology with 14 different sensors.




At present, the Xtreme 160R is offered in two variants - Single Disc and Double Disc. However, we can expect the Xtreme 160R 100 Millionth Edition to be offered only in the Double Disc variant. As for the price, the 100 Millionth Edition model will be slightly premium over the model currently on sale which retails in the price range of Rs 1.03 lakhs - Rs 1.06 lakhs (ex-showroom).
