Hero Xtreme 160R vs Suzuki Gixxer BS6 vs TVS Apache RTR 160 4V BS6: Features

All the three motorcycles come equipped with an LED headlamp and LED tail light. However, Hero Xtreme 160R gets LED turn indicators as well, making it the only motorcycle to get all-LED lighting. All three of them get digital display units. The Xtreme 160 R uses a negative-display unit, while there is a console on the Gixxer and the Apache RTR 160 4V gets a conventional black text on a white background.  While all three motorcycles have an identical suspension setup consisting of telescopic forks and a mono-shock, the Apache RTR 160 4V BS6 gets special tuning from KYB (forks) and Showa ( mono-shock). Three of them offer a full-digital instrument console though the Gixxer BS6 has the most premium looking and comprehensive setup of the lot. The Gixxer BS6 is also the only motorcycle here to get a split seat setup.

TVS Apache RTR

The Hero Xtreme 160R gets the largest front disc brakes for better braking performance. As for Apache RTR 160 4V, the brake feedback is poor while the Gixxer’s suspension units are set up for a firm ride. The Xtreme also comes equipped with a side-stand engine cut off and hazard lights, but the Apache stands out here as it features the Glide Through Technology (GTT), which allows for much easier slow-speed riding, moving the motorcycle forward by just releasing the clutch and without throttle operation.
