Honda Activa Completes 20 Years in India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. launch a special campaign to celebrate the success of Activa

Earlier in November 2020, Honda Activa 6G 20th Anniversary Limited Edition was launched between the price range of Rs 66,816 - Rs 68,316 (ex-showroom). It was introduced to commemorate the scooter's popularity in the country. Today to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the flagship scooter, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. have launched a special campaign. Introduced way back in 2001, the Honda Activa is the highest selling scooter in the country with a close rivalry against Hero Splendor in the two-wheeler segment.

 


The 20th Anniversary Edition of Activa 6G comes with distinctive design cues. It retails in two new colour schemes - Matte Mature Brown Metallic and Pearl Nightstar Black. The new colour options match with rear grab rails, making it stand out in the crowd. Additionally, the special-edition scooter comes with a shiny embossed '20th-Year Anniversary' logo and precious golden Activa emblem. Visually, the two-wheeler's look is enhanced by stylish graphics. Also, it flaunts all-black wheels in the front and the rear.

Honda Activa 6G Anniversary Edition is powered by a 110cc PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine. The limited-edition scooter delivers 7.68 bhp of power output @8,000 rpm, and 8.79 Nm of peak torque @5,250 rpm. Transmission duties are taken care by a CVT gearbox. With the addition of fuel injection system and Honda’s signature ESP technology, the Activa 6G’s engine is 10 percent more fuel-efficient when compared with its predecessor.
