A set of patent images of a new Honda scooter have been leaked online

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has been working on an all-new petrol-CVT scooter for quite a while now. Recently, patent images of the same have been leaked online. Not many details are available as of now. However, as per these images, one can easily make out that the brand has tried to give a futuristic styling approach to the design by giving lots of curves and folds to the scooter.

Moreover by looking at these pictures, the Honda scooter sports a radical design philosophy. Since it is a Concept, the scooter does not have any lighting system or registration plate. The apron base, floorboard, and rear compartment fold into the upper half of the front apron. Further, behind the windscreen, there is a pocket that will be used to place the instrument cluster. Also, if you look carefully then you can find multiple storage boxes on the apron. The scooter seen here is riding on large ‘turbine-like’ alloy wheels.

The motor size as seen in the images depicts that the scooter might fall in the 150-160cc category. The suspension duties will be carried out by telescopic front fork and a single side-mounted unit at the rear. In terms of the brakes, the scooter gets a small-radial caliper disc brake up front. Since this is an early development prototype digital format, there is a fair chance that the scooter might be totally different when it hits the production line.

Apart from this, Honda recently launched its premium BS6 scooter, Grazia 125. The scooter was launched at Rs 74,000 (ex-showroom). Furthermore, it draws power from a 124cc air-cooled F1I single-cylinder engine that delivers 8.14 bhp power and 10.3 Nm of peak torque.
