The car features turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engines and no V6.

The tenth-generation Accord will launch internationally later this year and Honda has released a sketch of the car.

The car will be powered by a 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine (from the Civic Type R) that puts out 252hp power and 369Nm of torque. There will also be an entry-level, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged engine shared with the Civic and the CR-V. This unit puts out 192hp power and 260Nm of torque. There will be no V6 engine however. A hybrid variant powered by a 2.0-litre Atkinson cycle engine and two electric motors may make its way to the line-up later.

The car will feature a new 10-speed automatic gearbox as standard, with a six-speed manual version available in the ‘Sport’ variants. The car comes fitted with a new MacPherson strut front suspension, a more compact rear multi-link setup and an adaptive damper system.

The car’s design is more angular – there’s a prominent band of chrome that stretches across the front fascia. There are more prominent air vents on the bumper, LED lights, and prominent creases along the side and bonnet. On the inside, there’s a soft-touch instrument panel, chrome accents and an 8-inch display audio system.

The tenth-gen Accord may or may not make its way to the Indian car market, however.
