Hyundai Alcazar Mileage Revealed Ahead of Launch

It will be introduced in three grades namely Prestige, Platinum and Signature

Hyundai Alcazar is merely a couple of days away from its highly-anticipated launch in the Indian market. However prior to the launch, the mileage figures of the SUV have been leaked via a video. It will be introduced in both petrol and diesel fuel trims in three grades namely Prestige, Platinum and Signature, as revealed by the official brochure. Hyundai Alcazar will be available in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. The SUV will take on the likes of Mahindra XUV500, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus in the Indian market.




Hyundai Alcazar petrol variants will be powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine which will deliver top power of 157 bhp and peak torque of 192 Nm. The engine will come with a 6-speed and a 6-speed automatic gearbox with mileage figures of 14.50kmpl and 14.20kmpl, respectively. The diesel variants, on the other hand, will get the same 1.5L CRDi motor as the Creta and Verna. It will churn out maximum power of 113 bhp and highest torque of 250 Nm while linked to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission with fuel efficiency of 20.40kmpl and 18.10kmpl, respectively. There will not be an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system on offer. Though, it will have three driving modes namely Comfort, Eco and Sport.


Dimension-wise, Hyundai Alcazar will be a bit longer than Creta with a best-in-segment wheelbase of 2,760mm. The 6-seater version will come with Captain seats in the middle row. The second row will also boast of a centre console with wireless charging function and cup holders. The back side of the front seats will get setback tables and AQI display. Some of the other notable features of the SUV include 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof with voice command, 64 colour ambient lighting, Bose audio system and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and BlueLink with OTA Map updates. Hyundai has equipped the Alcazar with a traction control feature with three modes: Snow, Sand and Mud.
