Despite the Coronavirus pandemic, the all-new Hyundai Creta has managed to create quite a buzz in the Indian market as well as in its segment. Speaking of the segment, the Creta competes against the likes of Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Renault Duster, Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, Volkswagen T-Roc among many others in the compact SUV space.
Launched only four months ago, according to the South Korean manufacturer this particular SUV has been their best seller product for three continuous months - May, June and July 2020. A 'Make in India' product, the all-new Hyundai Creta has managed to garner 65,000 bookings since its introduction back on the 17th of March 2020. Further, the company claims that it is the diesel variants that are selling more in comparison to the petrol ones.

Expanding a bit further, Tarun also stated that in the UV (Utility Vehicle) Segment it was the All-New Creta, Hyundai Venue, Tucson and Kona Electric that helped the brand register a sales figure of 34,212 units for the time period of April to July 2020. Coming to the next-generation Hyundai Creta, this 'All-New' compact SUV has loads to offer. From a radical looking exterior design to a feature loaded interior, the Creta has it all. As for the powertrains, the four-wheeler stands to provide BS6 compliant 1.5 litre petrol engine mated to 6-speed manual and torque converter auto gearbox alongside a 1.5 litre U2 CRDi diesel unit that comes equipped with both 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Plus there is a more performance oriented 1.4 litre litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol engine in the offering that comes fitted with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The compact SUV comes with three different driving modes: Eco, Comfort and Sport. For better traction, there are another set of modes for example Sand, Mud and Snow.
