Before the official launch of the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift on 16th January, the Hyundai has ultimately unveiled the exterior details of the car globally. According to sources, the exterior design of the refreshed Creta has been adjusted with Indian consumers in mind. Hyundai's midsize SUV has been among the most well-liked in the nation for a number of years.

Although the styling of the Creta facelift is quite different from other Hyundai SUVs in India, it does borrow some recognizable design elements from other Hyundai models sold abroad. The nose is even more erect than it was previously, and it has a respectable combination of piano black, brushed aluminum, chrome, and LED lighting. In relation to LED lighting, it has an LED light bar above the broad grille and four inverted L-shaped DRLs or daytime running lamps on the corners. To keep design elements consistent, the rear taillamp design and LED light bar arrangement are similar to those up front. The popular SUV from Hyundai has a rather new appearance thanks to the updated tailgate design and rear bumper. The only changes on the sides are the brand-new alloy wheels, which come in 17- or 18-inch versions depending on the model.

Hyundai Creta facelift interior and features

The centerpiece of the redesigned Creta's interior are its two 10.25-inch screens. Depending on the model, new upholstery materials and textures have also been added, along with modifications to the dash and AC vent designs. A revised features list now includes, among other things, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, an eight-way powered driver's seat, a 360-degree camera system, and a blind spot monitoring system.

Hyundai Creta facelift: powertrain options

The 1.5-liter, 115 horsepower gasoline and diesel engines that were upgraded to meet BS6 Phase 2 standards last year will remain in place, along with their corresponding automatic and manual gearbox choices. Also coming to the updated Creta is the new 1.5 L turbo-petrol with 160 horsepower. This unit comes standard with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. There will be 7 exterior paint shade alternatives and seven trim options available for the updated Creta.

Hyundai Creta facelift rivals in India

The 2024 Creta facelift is going to exist as the rival against Grand Vitara, Taigun, Kushaq, and Hyryder in the Indian market. Soon, in a mere period of a few months, Tata Motors is also going to step its foot with the brand-new Tata Curvv SUV. This SUV is expected to be almost the same size as that of Creta, but will definitely acquire exclusive coupe-SUV looks.
