Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo-Petrol Mileage Revealed

The ARAI certified fuel efficiency figures are out for Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo-Petrol and it is more efficient than VW Polo TSI.

Hyundai India had launched the new generation Grand i10 Nios in 2019 with 3 engine options - two petrol and one bi-fuel with CNG. Both the petrol engines were updated to meet the new stringent BS6 vehicular norms. The eye-catching news was the introduction of a BS6 compliant 1.0L Turbo GDi petrol engine. There is a trend of growing popularity for a small turbocharged engine with more power and torque generation in India, presently. The ARAI certified figures for Hyundai Grand i10 Nios turbo-petrol has come out now. The fuel economy of the high-performance hatchback is 20.30kmpl. It is marginally lower than the entry-level 1.2 Kappa VTVT Petrol engine's 20.70kmpl. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is the first vehicle in its segment to offer a turbocharged petrol engine.

Powered by a new 1.0L turbo-petrol TSI engine, the Polo comes with 110 bhp of maximum power and 176 Nm of highest torque. Coupled with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, the fuel efficiency is rated at 18.24kmpl. Volkswagen Polo TSI fuel efficiency is lower by approx 2kmpl than the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo-petrol.
