Hyundai launches i20 CVT in India

The car is available in two trims, with prices going up to Rs 8.16 lakh.

The automatic version starts from Rs 7.04 lakh and Rs 8.16 lakh for the Magna and Asta variants respectively (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

For the facelifted i20, has used the 83hp, 1197cc petrol engine, which get tax benefits from the Indian government, and the company can competitively price the car thanks to this. The automatic versions cost slightly over Rs 1 lakh over their manual counterparts.

There are no other changes apart from the gearbox, the CVT versions get the same features as their manual counterparts.
