Hyundai is all set to make a splash in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment with their upcoming Venue. The company will soon present the sub-4-meter SUV at the New York Motor Show and ahead of that the South Korean maker has revealed that the company is all set to win over the customers with their new smart features. Established players such as Maruti Brezza, and Tata Nexon as well as newly launched feature loaded rivals such as Mahindra XUV300 will give the upcoming Venue a very tough fight in the segment. Therefore, the company is banking on making the Venue a very attractive product in the segment. The South Korean giant has stated that their upcoming sub-4meter compact SUV Venue will be a ‘Smart Connect SUV’ and will feature the brand’s ‘BlueLink Connected Technology’. The company claims this will be a first for such a vehicle in India and the new features will make the car safer, convenient, and easier to manage.
The company says that Venue’s ‘Smart Connect SUV’ tag will arm it with 33 features and among these, 10 have been developed especially for India. The voice recognition program in the upcoming SUV will recognize Indian accent and will be able to control media, calls, and navigation among other. The South Korean maker has also joined hands with recently formed Vodafone-Idea to equip the upcoming Venue with an onboard e-SIM to facilitate cloud-based services. One can also expect the bundled service to remain free at least until the car is under warranty.
The upcoming Hyundai venue will also come with various kinds of remote controls that range from turning on the AC to finding car in parking lot to remote locking and unlocking of their vehicle. The new SUV will also offer remote key-sharing. Just like the Ford cars, the new Venue will also come equipped with a system that will send out emergency alerts in case of a major crash.
The upcoming Venue will also have an emergency feature, roadside assistance and panic notification. The rear view mirror will also feature three button to easily access emergency, medical, panic, and customer support. The aforementioned remote access feature also offers the feature of notifying the owner in case their Venue is stolen. The e-SIM feature will also enable remote tracking and the feature of immobilizing the car in case of a theft thereby providing an important safety feature.
The entire ‘Smart Connect SUV’ feature will also enable the South Korean maker to equip upcoming Venue with geo-fencing, speed alert, and valet alert etc. The cloud-based services will also give the customers the option to track their driving patters apart from car’s status reports among other data analysis features.
