Hyundai Motor India is planning to reveal the new Creta Facelift SUV in the Indian market. Several media outlets have received invitations from the company to "Block Your Date" on January 16, 2024. Hyundai has not clarified whether the invitation is for the unveiling of the facelift. However, it has been testing the SUV for some time, which suggests that this upcoming event could be held for the new Creta facelift. The 2024 Creta SUV will come with a redesigned exterior, interior, and additional features.
Hyundai revealed the very first Creta facelift at the 2021 GIIAS in Indonesia. There have been many rumors regarding the launch of this SUV, such as that it was expected to be revealed at the Indian Auto Expo in 2023. Later, it was anticipated that the brand was deciding to unveil a newly designed facelift specifically for Indian buyers. The recently teased test mules indicated that the manufacturer will be unveiling the new Creta, and it will be based on the brand-new Palisade facelift. The first Creta test mule got a new parametric grille, DRLs, LED lights, and a new front fascia based on the Hyundai Tucson.

Hyundai is likely to offer the Creta Facelift with a set of 10.25-inch screens, the same as the Seltos Facelift. The SUV is expected to come with rich features like ADAS and a 360-degree camera. The Creta SUV will come equipped with new headlights that will be stacked vertically, and it could also have newly designed H-shaped headlights. Additionally, the SUV will get a new bumper and a new set of alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the upcoming Creta will come with the same 1.5-liter petrol turbocharged engine that churns out a max of 160 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque, with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-liter diesel. The diesel engine produces power of 114 bhp and peak torque of 250 Nm. On the other hand, the naturally aspirated petrol engine can churn out 113 PS of horsepower and 144 Nm of peak torque.
When it comes to the side profile, the facelift SUV will retain the current model’s silhouette. The test mules of the SUV have been seen sporting H-shaped taillights just like the Exter, so the new model is likely to have the same. The forthcoming Creta facelift is likely to have two interior options. Also, the naturally aspirated diesel and petrol versions will be available with the same beige and black interior. The 1.5-litre version will come with all-black upholstery.
