Hyundai sold over 1.08 lakh units of the Venue in 2021 alone

Hyundai Venue has crossed the sales milestone of 3 Lakh units in the Indian market. Being dubbed as India's first connected SUV, the Venue was launched in 2019 with Advanced Blue Link connected car technology and nearly 18 percent of the overall sales of the SUV have come from these variants. Initially, it boasted of 33 Connected car features but currently it comes with 52 Blue Link connected car features. Hyundai sold over 1.08 lakh units of the Venue in 2021 alone. It is Hyundai’s first model to be equipped with the iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) unit.


Over 70 percent of the sales of the Hyundai Venue are of petrol variants. Just so you know, Hyundai Venue is available with a couple of petrol engine options in the form of a 1.2L MPi and a 1.0L T-GDi unit. It is also the first model in the brand's line-up to feature the 1.0L T-GDi petrol engine with 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. Hyundai has been the No.1 SUV maker in India for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021 with the Venue playing a stellar role in scripting this success. While Hyundai sold over 2.5 Lakh SUVs in 2021, Hyundai Venue contributed to more than 42 percent of Hyundai SUV sales in 2021 with a total of 1.08 Lakh units sold. Further, in 2021, it had a market share of 16.9 percent in its segment.
