Isuzu India will Raise Prices of SUVs and Pickups

The price rise will go into effect from January 1, 2018.

The company announced that it is raising prices of its entire range of pick-ups and SUVs. Isuzu says the rise is between 3 to 4 percent and will be effective from January 1.

The price of the D-Max pick-up is expected to rise by ₹15,000, while the MU-X SUV, by as much as ₹1,00,000.

Essential metals such as steel, copper and aluminium, have seen a rise in prices, so the entire industry is expected to raise prices of their products to offset this increase.

Carmakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra had also indicated that they might raise prices on some products as well.
