Jaguar Land Rover India is bolstering its presence in the country with the announcement of a new retail partner. The British luxury automaker has added Shakti Auto Cars in Bengaluru to its existing network with Venkatesh Tatuskar as the Director. The new facility is located in the upscale Brookfield area of the Southern city, in close proximity to the IT hub of the Whitefield area. The new facility is spread over an area of 4180 square metres with display space for 10 cars. There is also a handover bay for delivering vehicles plus the showroom has an approved pre-owned car area to cater to the needs of pre-owned customers. The buyers can also look forward to a wide range of Jaguar Land Rover-branded accessories and merchandise. There is an integrated service workshop packed with 18 service bays with high-end equipment to offer ownership experience.

He said “We are delighted to announce that we have partnered with Shakti Auto Cars to service our customers in Bengaluru. With its ultra-modern sales facility, housing sales, service and spares, it provides our customers with enhanced access and convenience, along with a world-class experience of owning a Jaguar Land Rover product in this region.”
Jaguar product portfolio in India includes models like XE (priced at Rs 46.64 Lakhs), XF (retails at Rs 55.67 Lakhs), F-PACE (priced at Rs 66.07 Lakhs) and F-TYPE (starting at Rs 95.12 Lakh). All prices mentioned are ex-showroom prices in India. The Land Rover range offering in India comprises of Range Rover Evoque (starting at Rs 59.73 Lakh), Discovery Sport (starting at Rs 60.99 Lakh), Range Rover Velar (starting at Rs 75.28 Lakh), Discovery (starting at Rs 75.60 Lakh), New Defender (starting at Rs 73.98 Lakh) Range Rover Sport (starting at Rs 89.13 Lakh) and Range Rover (starting at Rs 2.01 crore). All prices mentioned are ex-showroom prices in India.
There are a total of 28 company authorized dealer outlets in 24 Indian cities as of now. The retail presence is there in Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bengaluru (3), Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi (2), Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Karnal, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mangalore, Mumbai (2), Noida, Pune, Raipur, Surat and Vijayawada.
As we know, Jaguar is planning to launch its first all-electric car I-Pace in the Indian market in 2021. It is powered by a 90kWh lithium-ion battery with performance figures of 394 bhp power output and 696 Nm peak torque. Further, the powerful electric SUV comes with an AWD system.
