The pick-up truck will be positioned as a lifestyle product.

Michael Manley, Head of the Jeep Brand, confirmed at the LA Auto Show that the brand will be launching the Jeep Pick-up in 2019. “A Jeep pick-up is one of the two most requested things we have been asked for, since 2009,” Manley said. Alongside the pick-up, Jeep will also introduce the diesel Wrangler.

There is no confirmation yet on the badge that the pick up will wear, and Jeep boss Damien Dally stated that the company is not expecting big sales numbers for the pick-up, and instead, are looking to position it more as a lifestyle product.

The car will be a single cab version based on the Wrangler. The pick-up is expected to go into production in November 2018 in Toledo, Ohio.
