Top-spec Limited variant is currently seeing the most demand.

Jeep has sold over 19,000 units of the Compass since the car was first launched at the end of July. The company has officially produced over 25,000 units of the Compass, of which 5,000 were exported.

According to the company’s sales figures, 80 percent of the sales were the diesel model. Dealers tell us that the top-end Limited variant, in white and silver, was the most preferred version. The waiting period for the car has also come down to 45 days from four months. The manufacturer sources 65 percent locally and that has allowed it to price the car competitively.

The company has also launched an event called Jeep 4x4 Month, from April 4 to April 30. The company is also offering an upgrade from the Limited 4x2 2.0D variant to the Limited 4x4 2.0D trim for Rs 50,000.
