The bike makes 111hp, gets traction control, an LED package and more.

Kawasaki’s Z900RS is now on sale here and it costs Rs 15.3 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike uses a liquid-cooled, 948cc, in-line, four-cylinder motor, like the one on the Z900. Power has been dialled down on this bike though from 125hp to 111hp, and torque stands at 98.5Nm. The bike features a four-into-one exhaust finished in stainless steel that adds to its classic appeal.

You get traction control as standard and 300mm front discs with radial-mounted calipers. The bike is fitted with an analogue instrument cluster, with a digital screen hidden between the two (speedo/tacho) pods.

The frame was redesigned to accommodate the slim and classic-styled 17-litre fuel tank. There’s LED lighting all-around, and the new cast wheels feature flat spokes that resemble classic wire-spoke ones. You can get this bike on a bookings-only basis. Deliveries will begin in July if the order is placed before the end of February 2018.
