This month, Kawasaki Ninja has been all set to release the much awaited Ninja 1100SX in India. The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX engine is bigger and has better rideability which comes with slightly more expensive price tags than those of the old Ninja 1000.

Enhanced Engine and Performance

The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX comes as a huge upgrade from the old model Ninja 1000, with an engine capacity of 1099cc. Although the power has dropped marginally to 136hp, the new engine delivers higher torque, thus enhancing the Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX performance at low revs and making the machine relatively easy to ride under everyday conditions. It is expected that this would give rise to a more even, smoother riding experience that disappears into the background for long-distance riders.

Improved Touring Experience

The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX specifications have led to the improvement of the touring performance of the bike. The lengthening of the gearing in the upper pairs, mainly 5th and 6th gears makes high-speed cruising more relaxed for the rider. The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX features a new bi-directional quickshifter that has improved the performance at lower RPMs, for better convenience during rides through congested urban traffic, or on long rides.

Upgraded Features and Styling

Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX updates include an almost must-have handlebar-mounted USB Type C charging port to riders while they travel. The Ninja 1000-have fun-to-ride features such as a variety of riding modes, traction control, ABS, electronic cruise control, etc.

Pricing and Availability

The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX India price is expected to be priced nearly Rs 75,000 to Rs 1 lakh above the last price of the previous Ninja 1000, which stood at Rs 12.19 lakhs (ex-showroom). The new motorcycle might thus cost up to Rs 13 lakhs to Rs 13.5 lakhs (ex-showroom). For the time being, Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX booking will only include the base model, the Ninja 1100SX, into India as the extremely high-spec SE variant, which comprises enhanced brakes and suspension, will not be brought into the country.

The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX is targeted to those seeking performance with practicality and refinement in their touring experience. While its engine has been tweaked up, it has seen new features added, which promise to bring an entirely new rider to the fold of sport-touring. The Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX launch date is expected to hit Indian shores sometime later this month.
