The 2020 Maruti Swift Facelift is expected to be launched in mid-2020 somwehere between the months of July - August. Swift Facelift is likely to be priced in the range of Rs 5.25 lakhs to Rs 8.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Maruti Swift Facelift: Exterior Updates
In terms of cosmetic updates, the 2020 Maruti Swift Facelift will provide a refreshed front-end. These changes would include a new bumper, newly-styled fog lamps, and a grille similar to the Dzire facelift up-front. While the side profile will cater to newly styled alloy wheels and the rear will provide a reworked bumper.
Maruti Swift Facelift: Interior Updates
The cabin of 2020 Maruti Swift Facelift is expected to get a multi-color 4.2-inch multi-information display for its instrument cluster. It will also boast of an updated version of the 7-inch SmartPlay studio touchscreen infotainment system. The hatchback is likely to provide cruise control, auto-folding outside rearview mirrors, cloud-based services for audio entertainment and display vehicle alerts.
Maruti Swift Facelift: Engine Specifications
The 2020 Maruti Swift Facelift is expected to get a new 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engine, which also powers the Maruti Dzire facelift and Maruti Baleno. This engine can churn out 90 bhp power and 113 Nm torque. Compared to the current 1.2L engine, the new DualJet engine produces 7 bhp more of power.
Maruti Swift Facelift: Safety Features
In terms of safety features, the 2018 Swift offered dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchors as standard. Maruti is expected to equip the AMT variants of refreshed Swift with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Assist and auto stop-start function.
