Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR Launched in India; Priced at INR 9.10 Lakh

The all-new Ninja ZX-4RR is being brought to the country as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

India Kawasaki Motor (IKM) has rolled out the new Ninja ZX-4RR in India after releasing the teaser earlier this month. The Ninja ZX-4RR is now listed on the brand’s Indian website, and it is available at a price of INR 9.10 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The motorcycle is positioned above the popular Ninja ZX-4R in the brand’s lineup. The all-new Ninja ZX-4RR is being brought to the country as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).

Kawasaki will offer the new Ninja ZX-4RR in limited numbers. The Ninja ZX-4RR is powered by a 399-cc liquid-cooled, in-line 4-cylinder engine. The unit can churn out power of 76 bhp at 14,500 rpm and peak torque of 37.6 Nm at 13,000 rpm. The robust engine has boosted the power up to 15,000 rpm. The unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox and features a bi-directional quickshifter. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 189 kg.

In terms of design language, the Ninja ZX-4RR is sportier and looks more aggressive. It comes equipped with a split LED headlight and a sleek front profile, which is identical to the outgoing Ninja ZX-6R. The company is offering the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR in a lime green color scheme.

On the feature front, the Ninja ZX-4RR is loaded with traction control, a 4.3-inch TFT screen, Bluetooth connectivity, four riding modes, dual-channel ABS, power modes, all-LED lighting, and smartphone connectivity.

The ZX-4RR has premium hardware, and it features 37mm SFF-BP USD forks along with preload adjustability. At the rear, the bike has a preload-manageable Showa BFRC Lite monoshock. Braking duties are done by 290 mm dual semi-floating discs up front, and at the rear, it gets a single 220 mm disc. The motorcycle rolls on 17-inch wheels.
