Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R acquires an upgraded design that completely aligns with the Ninja ZX-4R.

What could be better than to launch a brand-new bike on the eve of New Year? Kawasaki has done so by launching its all-new Ninja ZX-6R, which was unveiled at the IBW 2023 event in India in December 2023. The supersport motorbike with pure racing DNA has been launched in India at INR 11.09 Lakh (ex-showroom). The brand-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R comes with new styling and a bouquet of upgraded features.

This new superbike acquires an upgraded design that is in compliance with the other Ninja supersport motorbike on sale from the Japanese two-wheeler bike maker. The brand-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R equips savvy styling components that are exactly similar to the ZX-4R, which was also launched recently in India. The motorcycle is equipped with aggressive bodywork along with clip-on handlebars that has been influenced by its elder sibling Kawasaki ZX-10R. Along with this, the bike gets the brand's signature split LED headlamps that offers a chic and sculpted look to the bike. Also, the bike boasts a fully digital TFT screen coupled with Bluetooth connectivity as a standard feature.

Although the upgrades are mostly limited to the features and fascia, the sporty Kawasaki supersport motorbike gets all powered up by a 636 cc inline-four engine. Further, this engine now comes in complete compliance with the latest emission standards. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with a quick-shifter and produces peak power of 128 bhp and a peak torque of 69 Nm.

The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R gets braking from dual 310 mm discs at the front wheel and a single 220 mm rear disc. The bike accelerates on 17 inches alloy wheels wrapped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres. The motorbike gets flexible Showa USD front forks along with a rear shock absorber on the suspension front.

This new bike by Kawasaki contends directly with the likes of Aprilia RS 660. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R comes mitigating the gap between the Ninja 400 and the top-specifications Ninja ZX-10RR in the product lineup of two-wheeler manufacturer.
