Kia Carnival Hi Limousine 4-seater MPV comes equipped with several new features and a spacious cabin

Kia Motors has finally taken the wraps-off the 4th Generation Carnival Hi Limousine 4-seater globally. Talking about the India launch, the South Korean automaker has no plans to bring it to our shores as of now. Currently, we have the third-generation Carnival on sale in the country. It was introduced in February last year. The MPV can easily accommodate up to 11 people. It is a four-seater model with a high-roof configuration.

The 4-seater Kia Carnival Hi Limousine comes equipped with a plethora of features. The biggest highlight of the cabin are two-large aircraft style seats for the second row. It comes draped in three-dimensional, quilted nappa leather. Passengers can relax comfortably with the ‘Premium Relaxation Seat’ function that basically distributes the load on the hips and the back. These seats can be individually operated and come with their own dedicated tray tables. Kia has provided the Carnival with a 7.0-inch touch display integrated on the central armrest console to control various seat functions.

The screen also controls other functions like the rear seat lighting, the air conditioning, a foot massager located behind the front passenger seat, and a 21.5-inch smart monitor mounted on the ceiling. Talking about the foot massager, it has been developed in collaboration with Hu Tech, a healthcare company. Other feature highlights include a cool/hot storage unit and rear seat storage box. The boot space area gets a ceiling-mounted hanger and storage boxes under the floor. In terms of safety, the MPV gets rear parking collision avoidance assistance, rain sensor, remote smart parking assistance, and remote 360 degree view.

Performance-wise, the 4-seater Carnival Hi Limousine is powered by a 3.5-litre SmartStream V6 petrol engine that churns out a maximum power of 289 bhp and a peak torque of 355 Nm. The motor is further mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, sending drive to the front wheels only. In comparison to the standard model, the Carnival Hi Limousine comes with retuned suspension.
