Kia QYI compact SUV planned to launch in H2 of 2020

Kia is planning to launch its compact SUV (codenamed QYI) around August 2020, around the same time that Kia Seltos was launched last year, following the introduction of the Carnival MPV at the 2020 Auto Expo.

In creating new models and concepts at the Auto Expo, Kia is poised to grow its customer base significantly. This move would increase its impact. If the price is right and the equipment is a crowd puller, the new SUV will have the potential to become a major volume puller for the company. Some car experts say that their prices are likely to start from Rs 7 lakh and climb up to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).
