South Korean carmaker Kia is all geared up to launch their first car -- the Seltos SUV -- in the Indian market in a month's time on 22nd August. The South Korean maker has also started establishing customer service and sales premises all over the country and has managed to prop up a network of 265 touchpoints, 206 sales centers, and 192 service stations in around 160 cities. This is a remarkable achievement as it ensures that the customers will have no trouble getting in touch with the brand at any point. Kia Seltos will lock horns with vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500, Tata Harrier and the MG Hector upon launch in the Indian market.
The bookings for the SUV have already been opened in an official capacity and the booking amount has been set at Rs. 25,000. With over 6,000 bookings on the very first day itself, the SUV created a record in the Indian market. The Seltos was first presented in the Indian market and it will be subsequently launched across the world as well because it is a global vehicle. Kia will make the car at its Anantapur plant and will export it across the world. Now the company has also released the photos of the interiors of the vehicle that were earlier kept under the wraps.
These newly released pictures display what the future Kia Seltos customers will get with their all-new SUV. The first in the line is a multi-information display unit that is 7 inches in size. This colour unit is placed between the tachometer and speedometer dials and it will display vital information regarding the car for the driver. Then comes the ambient light system of the Seltos that is also paired with the Bose speaker system of the car. The lighting of the cabin will fluctuate as per the music being played. The Bose speaker system and ambient lighting system attached to it is a segment first feature on Seltos.
The third unique feature that also happens to be a segment first feature will be a truly Heads-Up Display unit on the Seltos. This HUD unit will display information like speed, navigation etc. and will surely aid in an even better driving experience for the owners. Then comes the Smart Pure Air Purifier system of the Seltos. This is not just a segment but a world first for any car. In a country like India where the urban centers are bearing the worst brunt of the pollution, the integrated anti-pollution system will surely be a boon for the users.
