Kia India has launched the Seltos X Line at a starting price of Rs 17.79 Lakhs (ex-showroom, pan India) in the country. The top-of-the-line X Line grade will be available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims. Kia Seltos X Line is offered in a first made-in-India ‘Xclusive Matte Graphite’ colour along with first-in-segment 18-inch crystal cut matte graphite alloy wheels. It is introduced with a 7-speed DCT automatic unit with petrol engine while the diesel variant comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic unit.
The Seltos X Line flaunts a radiator matte graphite grille upfront with Xclusive Piano Black outline. The fog lamp units also come with Xclusive Piano Black accents while both front and rear skid plates are finished in Xclusive Piano Black color with Sun Orange accents. The side profile features side door garnish with Sun Orange accents and Xclusive Piano Black ORVMs. The 18-inch alloy wheels get a center wheel cap with Sun Orange accents as standard. At the rear, several elements such as the dual muffler design, shark fin antenna and tailgate garnish are offered in Xclusive Piano Black color with an exclusive X Line emblem. The cabin boasts of a Indigo Pera Leatherette Upholstery with Honeycomb pattern as standard fitment.
The Seltos X Line is available with the 1.4L T-GDi Smartstream petrol engine with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. It is also offered with a 1.5L CRDi VGT diesel motor while linked to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission as standard. The power output and torque delivery of both the X Line variants is identical to the regular model. Kia Seltos has a market share of more than 40 percent in the mid-sized SUV segment with over 2 Lakh units being sold in less than two years in the Indian market. The X Line, manufactured at Kia's facility in Andhra Pradesh, can be booked at any of Kia’s 300+ touch points across the country and on the official website of the company.
