Kia Seltos X-Line comes with several exterior and interior upgrades to differentiate itself from the standard model

Kia India is gearing up to launch the Seltos X-Line anytime soon in September this year. The automaker has released the first set of images and details of the new SUV. The new Seltos X-Line is inspired by the Kia Seltos X-Line concept that was showcased at the Auto Expo last year. The SUV comes with several feature upgrades in comparison to the standard model. Talking about the price, we can expect the Seltos X-Line to cost slightly more than the standard SUV. Currently, the Seltos fall in the price range of Rs 9.95 lakh - Rs 17.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia Seltos X-Line: Design

Design-wise, the Seltos X-Line gets a grille in matte graphite finish along with a piano black frame. In addition, it features a piano black trim with orange accents instead of a silver skid plate on the bumper. Moving on, the LED fog lamps get new piano black accents around them. On the side, the SUV features orange accents on the side door garnish and centre wheel caps. The major highlight is the 18-inch alloys. Moving towards the rear end, the Sletos X-Line gets a blacked-out tailgate and bumper. The skid plate is also finished in black along with an orange highlight. There is also an X-Line logo on the tailgate.

Kia Seltos X-Line: Features

Moving inside the cabin of the upcoming Kia Seltos X-Line, it gets Indigo Pera leatherette seats with honeycomb pattern and Grey stitching. Moving on, the dashboard features a dual-tone black and grey theme. Besides these, the feature list remains identical to the top-end GT Line trim of standard Seltos.

Kia Seltos X-Line: Engine Specifications

Performance-wise, we can expect the upcoming Seltos X-Line to get the same engine options as present on the standard Seltos. The SUV will continue to draw power from 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engines. In the present state, the former churns out 139 bhp power and 242 Nm peak torque. This particular engine is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. While the latter generates a top power of 114 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. Transmission duty here is taken care of by a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
