KTM launched the RC200 and RC125 in the country. The former is priced at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the latter is retailed at Rs 1.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Bookings for both the motorcycles are open at all the KTM showrooms. Interested buyers can avail special finance schemes with a down payment starting from Rs 24000. Furthermore, KTM has commenced the production of RC200. The bike will soon reach the showrooms. However, KTM RC125 will start reaching the showrooms from next month onward.
KTM RC200 Gen-2 & KTM RC125 Gen-2: Design & Features
The KTM RC Gen-2 range sits on an all-new steel trellis frame with bolt on subframe, lightweight wheels, and brakes. Design-wise, the KTM RC200 gets all-LED headlamps. While KTM RC125 features all-new halogen headlamps. Other design bits include a new LCD dash display, and fully-adjustable handlebars. The fuel tank volume has been increased from 9.5 litres to 13.7 litres. Besides these, both bikes get a sharper tail light design.

Performance-wise, KTM RC 125 is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that generates 14.2 bhp power and 12 Nm peak torque. The KTM RC200, on the other hand, gets a 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid cooled, fuel-injected motor that churns out a top power of 24 bhp and a peak torque of 19.5 Nm. The engine of both bikes are further linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Besides this, both come equipped with a new larger airbox and a new curved radiator that ensures superior cooling for the engine. Suspension duties in both motorcycles are taken care of by WP APEX big piston fork upfront and new WP APEX shock absorber towards the rear. In terms of the brakes, the KTM RCGen-2 range gets a new, lighter 320mm disc at the front and 230mm disc at the rear.
