Suzuki V-Strom 650, GSX-S750 & GSX-R1000 Recalled

Suzuki recalls V-Strom 650, GSX-S750 and GSX-R1000 in the USA for replacing the o-ring, will be recalled in India too.

Japanese manufacturer, Suzuki has recalled three models of bikes in the United States. The models which are recalled are Suzuki V-Strom 650, GSX-S750 and GSX-R1000. There is a total of 6928 units of bikes that have been recalled.

The motorcycles have been recalled because the fuel pump O-ring was damaged in the process of installing. The manufacturer will replace the fuel pump O-ring and the inner vessel without charging any amount to the customer. The 2017 and 2018 model years of V-Strom 650, 2017 GSX-R1000 and 2018 GSX-S750 were affected and hence recalled.

The dealers have started contacting the owners and have commenced the recall. Moreover, the owners can also get in contact with their Suzuki dealer to sort this issue. However, Suzuki Motorcycles India haven’t yet announced anything regarding the recall but might announce it in future days to come.
