The car will be show at the Detroit show next month.

The company has shown a trailer that gives us a glimpse of the new SUV. The car will officially be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit in January 2018. Lexus calls its the LF-1 Limitless.

The preview shows the car with a two-piece roof spoiler and an extended rear tail-lamp. There will be two rows of seats and the SUV’s styling is a departure from Lexus’ current design language. This concepts design looks a whole lot softer and more rounded than Lexus’ current line-up.

The model will sit above the RX L that was recently showcased at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, and will be the company’s flagship. It will rival cars like the upcoming Audi Q8.

Designed by a California-based team, the designers stated that it will “redefine the boundaries of luxury”.
