The price increment is because of rising input and freight costs.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor will raise prices of all its models by three percent, effective January, 2018. This rise is thanks to increasing input and freight costs. So far, Skoda and Isuzu have also implemented a similar hike. Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra had also indicated that they might revise prices as part of a cyclical revision.

The month of December has seen carmakers advertise deals and discounts to lure buyers. Toyota is currently offering benefits of up to ₹90,000, loans at a low interest rate of 4.99 percent, 100 percent on-road financing and special EMI packages under its ‘Remember December Campaign’.

This offer is only valid till the end of this month.
