Winkelmann also reportedly stated that while the company is not required to sell 10,000 automobiles this year, it is crucial to demonstrate the company's health. It will also demonstrate how eager buyers are to purchase Lamborghini vehicles.

He stated "It is not something we are obliged to achieve, but it's important to show what the health of the company is and how big (clients') willingness to buy our cars is."

The Urus SUV has been a huge success in the company's history. Lamborghini has recently increased its production output in response to the SUV's high demand and sales volume.

Meanwhile, Lamborghini is significantly investing in electrified models such as plug-in hybrids and completely electric versions. The carmaker intends to deliver the world's first 100% electric vehicle in 2028, which will be a 2+2 grand tourer.
