The 2018 model gets added connectivity features.

The updated Sport now gets new connectivity features and updates to the infotainment system. The Discovery Sport has a built in Wi-Fi Hotspot that can provide in-car access to the internet for up to eight devices. The infotainment system now features In Control Pro Services. There is a downloadable route-planning app, a commute mode and an app that lets you share your ETA via an SMS with your contacts. The company has also tweaked the car's existing line-up.

For now, there's no petrol model, which means the new Ingenium petrol engine may launch soon. You now get the car with the same 150hp and 190hp, 2.0-litre diesel variants, as before. There's no more five-seat version on the mid-spec SE trim and the top-spec HSE Luxury trim – only the base pure variant is available as a five-seater. The three other trims are available in a 5 + 2 seater configuration.

Prices start at ₹42.48 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and go up to ₹57.46 lakh.
