The sedan uses four electric motors and can hit 100kph in under 3sec.

Chinese carmaker LCVHI will take the wraps off its all-electric four-seater at the Geneva motor show. The car is called the Venere and it uses four electric motors – two on each axle – and is powered by a 100kWh lithium ion battery pack. The all-electric powertrain makes a whopping 1006hp and is claimed to be able to take this car to 100kph in under 3 seconds.

Top speed is claimed to be over 250kph. The car is 119mm longer than a Range Rover and offers a claimed range of 500kpl on a single charge. The Venere has been designed by the Institute of Development in Automotive Engineering in Italy, and its light-weight chassis has been made from carbon fibre.

On the inside, there’s a touchscreen in the tunnel between the driver and passenger instead of a conventional rotary dial. The company will show a production ready version of the car at the Geneva motor show.
