The car features an autonomous driving system that can identify when the car leaves or joins a highway.

The Lexus LS+ concept was unveiled at the Tokyo motor show and it showcases a range of new autonomous tech that will feature in 2020.

The advanced autonomous tech, which the company calls Highway Teammate, can understand when the car leaves or joins a highway in the US and Japan. It also offers automatic lane-keeping, merging and overtaking, and can keep a safe distance from other vehicles. The car can also use information from other cars to pre-warn the driver of any potential problems on the road.

Lexus president Yoshihiro Sawa said, “This will allow Lexus to deliver cars that can be driven even more safely and comfortably.” Sawa said the Highway Teammate system is a step towards Lexus’ aim of achieving Level 4 autonomous driving on all types of roads.

The concept also allows Lexus to send over-the-air updates for the car, which is similar to Tesla’s tech. The car also comes with laser-lit headlights, first seen on the Audi R8 and BMW i8.
